The night was dark and stormy. The wind howled outside, and the rain beat against the windows. Inside, a young woman named Sarah sat alone in her living room, reading a book. She was trying to relax, but she couldn't help but feel uneasy. There was something about the storm that made her feel uneasy.
Suddenly, she heard a noise outside. She froze, her heart pounding in her chest. The noise came again, closer this time. Sarah slowly got up and walked to the window. She peered out into the darkness, but she couldn't see anything.
The noise came again, right outside her window. Sarah jumped back, startled. She pressed her face against the window, trying to see what was out there. She could see a figure, but it was too dark to make out any details.
The figure moved closer to the window. Sarah could see that it was a man. He was tall and thin, with long, dark hair. He was wearing a black coat and a hat that obscured his face.
The man reached up and touched the window. Sarah gasped and stepped back. The man smiled, revealing a row of sharp teeth. Sarah knew that she was in danger.
The man started to climb through the window. Sarah ran to the door, but it was locked. She tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. She was trapped.
The man was getting closer. Sarah could see his eyes now. They were red and glowing. He was a vampire.
Sarah knew that she had to do something, or she would be killed. She picked up a book and threw it at the vampire. The book hit him in the head, but it didn't seem to hurt him.
The vampire reached for Sarah. She screamed and ducked out of the way. She ran to the fireplace and grabbed a poker. She held it up, ready to defend herself.
The vampire lunged at her. Sarah swung the poker, hitting him in the chest. The vampire staggered back, but he didn't fall.
The vampire charged at her again. Sarah swung the poker again, this time hitting him in the head. The vampire fell to the ground, unconscious.
Sarah ran to the door and unlocked it. She ran outside and into the night. She didn't stop running until she was sure that the vampire was gone.
Sarah was safe, but she knew that the vampire would be back. She had to find a way to stop him.
